Hi! I'm Emily.

In Japan and China, Kannon is the figure whose name means "she who hears the cries of the world." Before she acts, she listens—and then responds with exactly what's needed. I named this company after her because it's how I've always worked.
Over 20 years, I've helped organizations find what makes them different and turn that into systematic growth—from building frog's brand as a leading design consultancy across Asia, to taking Catalyte from $10M to $80M in revenue in two years, to helping CodePath grow from 2,000 to 17,000+ students per year while standing up a partner revenue program from zero.
I believe every organization carries something remarkable inside them. A story, a product, a mission so distinctive that when the world finally sees it, everything changes. Most never find the right way to share it. Finding it—and building the growth systems around it—is the work I do.
I started Kannon Studio to work directly with mission-driven founders and organizations that are building things that matter. What drives me? Helping them unlock their inner secrets and share them with the world.
Clients describe me as an assassin who moves mountains: laser-focused on results, scrappy and hands-on when needed, but able to think strategically when required.
